Ladislav Vojtech is one of nearly 850 Czechs to have been executed in Dresden during World War II. The permanent exhibition "Verurteilt. Inhaftiert. Hingerichtet. Politische Justiz in Dresden 1933-1945 // 1945-1957" ("Condemned. Imprisoned. Executed. Political Justice in Dresden 1933-1945 // 1945-1957"), featuring more than seven hundred photos, drawings, objects and documents, tells his story and that of many other victims of the judicial crimes committed in Dresden during the Nazi regime (1933-1945), the Soviet occupation and the early German Democratic Republic (1945-1957). The exhibition is located in the former district court building. The latter was built in 1907 along with an adjacent remand prison. The execution site was located in the courtyard of the court building.
